These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of HiveJammer Personal ("the App"), an Android security application developed and operated by James Adamson ("we", "us", "our"), based in Dublin, Ireland.
By installing or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, uninstall the App and stop using it.
HiveJammer is an advisory and informational security tool. It uses a combination of heuristic analysis, third-party APIs, and AI models to help you identify potential threats such as phishing, scams, deepfakes, malware, and data breaches.
HiveJammer is not a replacement for professional security judgment. It is one tool among many that can help you make more informed decisions about your digital safety.
The App is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
We do not guarantee that the App will:
False negatives are possible. A "safe" result does not guarantee the absence of threats. A "dangerous" result does not guarantee a confirmed threat. You should always exercise your own judgment.
Threat assessments in HiveJammer are generated in part by AI models (including third-party large language models). AI-generated analysis may contain errors, inaccuracies, false positives, or false negatives.
AI results should be treated as informational guidance, not as definitive security verdicts. Do not rely solely on AI-generated assessments for critical security decisions.
You acknowledge that no security tool can provide absolute protection. You assume all risk for decisions you make based on the App's output.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our total aggregate liability to you for any claims arising from or related to your use of the App is limited to the amount you have actually paid us for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim.
During the beta period, no fees are charged, so our liability is zero.
In no event shall we be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, revenue, or profits, regardless of the theory of liability.
HiveJammer includes an optional VPN feature provided for privacy purposes only. The VPN encrypts your internet traffic and masks your IP address.
The App is currently in beta. This means features may change, break, or be removed without notice. Beta software may contain bugs, errors, incomplete features, or stability issues. We make no guarantees about uptime, reliability, or feature availability during the beta period.
Breach check results are sourced from third-party databases and may not be exhaustive. The absence of results does not mean your data has not been compromised.
For password breach checks, your password never leaves your device. Only the first 5 characters of a SHA-1 hash are sent for k-anonymity lookups.
Minimum age. You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. If you are between 13 and 16 years old and located in the European Economic Area, you must have parental or guardian consent, as required under GDPR.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if you violate these Terms, with reasonable notice where practicable.
The App and all associated content, code, and materials are owned by us and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will provide reasonable notice of material changes (e.g., via in-app notification or email). Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ireland. Any disputes arising from or related to these Terms or your use of the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ireland.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
